Poker
The poker room
Poker has its own room on the 3rd floor. Playground lists 65 poker tables, and the room is open 24/7. It runs daily cash games and tournaments. A cash game is played for the chips on the table, not for a tournament prize. Tournament schedules are on the venue's poker page.
Seats are filled from a waiting list, which is the queue of names for the next open seat. Players add their names to any list through the Poker Atlas app, since the old text line has been discontinued. Every player also needs a Playground Player's card, set up online or at Guest Services. The tool below walks through getting a seat, step by step.

The rest of the hall
Playground opened in 2010 and lists over 128,000 square feet. Its gaming machines are spread across two floors and include electronic blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables. All players get complimentary drinks. In 2024 the venue was named Fans Choice: Best Poker Room at the Global Poker Awards in Las Vegas. In 2017 it received an American Poker Award for Event of the Year (MILLIONS North America).
Smoking is allowed only in self-contained smoking rooms. Two sit on the 2nd floor with the machines, one near the elevators and one to the left of the bar. Poker players have their own on the 3rd floor. The rest of the floor is smoke-free.
Food
Food at the venue
Three restaurants operate at Playground. THE RAIL is a coal-fire bistro established in 2010, with a 130-guest dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It sits at 1500 Unit C, Route 138. This guide publishes no hours for it; the phone is (450) 635-4318.
Dinner at the steakhouse called etc. Steakhouse runs Sunday to Thursday from 5 pm to 11 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to midnight. ORSO Trattoria Moderna gives its hours as 5 pm to 11 pm, without naming days. Diners there need a Playground Player's card, and it takes walk-ins only, with no reservations. Holiday hours should be checked on playground.ca.

Who regulates
Who regulates gaming
Gaming at Playground is licensed by the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission, not by Loto-Québec. In 2024 the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke called Kahnawà:ke a legitimate gaming jurisdiction. In 2019, Loto-Québec said that under the Criminal Code only provincial governments may offer games of chance. No Québec-Kahnawà:ke gaming agreement had been published by October 2026.
Two other poker rooms appear on the KGC licensee list. The Office Poker Club is at Plaza 138, Route 138. River Run Poker, at 2000B Route 138, was licensed on June 28, 2023. On January 31, 2024, the KGC approved its temporary closure.
Online
Online play from Québec
Playground does not operate an online gaming site. It says ads or sites saying otherwise are fraudulent. In September 2023, the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission warned about ads falsely saying Playground offers online gaming. Québec's own online gaming site is lotoquebec.com, run by Loto-Québec. Players there must be 18 or older, Québec residents and physically in Québec.
Québec has no licensing regime for private online operators. The paid links on this guide's home page are marked Ad. They lead to a private online casino, and the guide earns a commission. That partner holds no authorization from Québec and has no connection with any gaming venue in Kahnawà:ke.
